We believe in fostering talent and providing real opportunities for creators to shine. Through our Creator Program, we’ve seen participants evolve from program members to key freelance contributors for RTFKT projects.
Sir Snapback, talented director, video producer and editor, joined the Creator Program and quickly stood out for his skills and personality. We hired him for several projects, including live streaming, feature films, and event recaps. These events include Clone X LA, Sneakercon, and Complexcon, and a international work experience opportunity to cover the RTFKT Geisai event in Japan. Most recently, Sir Snapback was flown to Nike HQ in Oregon to direct and produce the short Behind the Design: RTFKT x Nike Dunks. Is not just the talent, but also his character and worth ethic what makes us come back to him every time.
Aalasady, animator and 3D generalist, quickly made a name for himself by developing innovative tools and content that empowered fellow creators and the community. This lead to a series of collaborations with RTFKT on high-profile marketing campaigns. Ali was hired to work on several key projects, including the MK Pill Challenge Feature for Takashi Murakami, and the Dunks EVO Skins Release for RTFKT and Nike. Most recently, he played a crucial role in crafting the Animus Release animation, alongside super talented RTFKT Creators Yori and Hunter.
Rupsy Banks, sneaker designer and 3D artist, started his journey in the program by making cool 3D renders and sneaker digital designs. We noticed his real life sneaker customs were incredible too, and the perfect opportunity came right away. During late 2023, we had a collab with Lockerverse, the NFL, Houston Texas and Atlanta Falcons for a Creator Challenge where RTFKT Creators had to create custom cleats designs for NFL stars CJ Stroud and Bijan Robinson.
CJ selected yyūgen's design and Bijan Mike Red's design. After the athletes selected the winners, Rupsy was hired by RTFKT to bring those designs to life, hand-customizing the cleats which were worn during Week 14 and 15 of the NFL season. Beyond his design work, Rupsy’s journey continued as he was flown to Texas to personally meet CJ Stroud and attend an NFL game. Here is the vlog he filmed to cupture the entire experience.
